Vince McMahon will be present at the WWE Performance Center to continue ongoing main roster scouting efforts later this week, reports Fightful Select.

As previously reported, several high-ranking WWE officials including Bruce Prichard and John Laurinaitis have been at the PC lately, checking up on talent with a view to replenishing main roster ranks depleted by recent releases and other issues.

Now, Vince is joining the group. He'll be at the Performance Center on Thursday.

Fightful note that Laurinaitis, Prichard, and co.'s scouting missions were conducted at the Performance Center's in-house PC Live shows.

2021 has been a release-heavy year for WWE, with the promotion cutting dozens of wrestlers from the Raw, SmackDown, NXT rosters, and beyond, particularly in big April, May, and June batches. The last round saw 14 NXT and 205 Live performers let go last week.

There's currently a pressing need to replenish SmackDown in particular, with the blue brand now down to around 20 active men (including tag team wrestlers) and less than half that number of women. Raw's roster isn't as thin, though as noted by Fightful, the brand has succumbed to repetitive booking patterns over the past few months.
