Vince McMahon Set To Wrestle At WrestleMania 38!
Just when you thought WrestleMania 38 couldn't get any more crazier...
Vince McMahon is set for a sensational return to in-ring action at this year's WrestleMania 38, according to POST Wrestling.
Hot on the heels of confirmation that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon would be appearing on The Pat McAfee Show this coming Thursday, it now appears that this appearance is set to kickstart a programme involving both the boss and the SmackDown colour commentator.
A number of sources confirmed to POST Wrestling that the former NFL star was set for something on the biggest show of the year with the Chairman of the Board. But when nudging a source who has knowledge on the current state of the situation, the site were told that an official match being built to on the Show of Shows' already stacked card was "most likely".
McMahon hasn't laced up his wrestling boots for a decade, taking on CM Punk, of all people, in his last match on Raw in 2012. And while he has put himself in physical harm's way since then, infamously taking a head-butt from Kevin Owens in 2017, this will likely mark Vince's first real instance of in-ring wrestling in quite some time.
Joining the likes of a rumoured "Stone Cold" Steve Austin return bout, a WWE/Universal Championship Unification match, Ronday Rousey and Becky Lynch's 'Mania comebacks, reported celebrity matches involving Logan Paul and Johnny Knoxville, and possibly even the re-emergence of The American Nightmare, this year's Showcase of the Immortals certainly doesn't appear to be lacking in star power...
