Was Paige's Arrest After WWE Money In The Bank Real Or Fake?
Was she arrested? Taken away in an ambulance? Shooting for a reality show?
After being something of a non-entity in the World Wrestling Entertainment Universe recently, Paige has exploded back onto the scene in the last 48 hours with aplomb. Last night she came up somewhat short in a Women's Championship match against Charlotte, but the real interest seems to have come from news that broke not long after Sunday night's Money in the Bank pay-per-view.
Photos surfaced online of Paige seemingly getting into an altercation with boyfriend Alberto Del Rio, with many speculating that the British anti-diva was arrested as a result. She also seemed to find herself getting into the back of an ambulance.
What exactly happened? Nobody is entirely sure. Paige's mother, the frankly terrifying Saraya Knight, confirmed on Twitter that her daughter wasn't arrested after the show. Paige also received a title shot last night, a sure sign that she wasn't in any trouble with the authorities.
Stirring the pot further was the news that Alberto Del Rio was hospitalised following his scary bump at the end of the Money in the Bank ladder match on the show. Some are speculating that the incident was all a work for Total Divas.
No charges were filed against Paige, that much is known.
