WCPW Loaded Episode 12: 10 Awesome Moments

6. James R. Kennedy's Microphone Woes

Also during this particular flashback to what happened at Refuse To Lose, James R. Kennedy and his Prospect troops decided to dampen the party atmosphere and crash Bret Hart's first ever WCPW appearance. Looking as preened as ever, the manager was the butt of jokes from Jim Ross and Jim Cornette on commentary.

The focus for Kennedy here was telling Hart that his team deserved the new WCPW Tag-Team Titles more than any other. As the very first team in company history, Prospect do have a good case to argue, even if they could go about their business in a more respectful fashion.

Believing WCPW management to have it out for Prospect following their recent suspension, James R. Kennedy was then outraged that his microphone didn't work. Pointing to the promotion's logo on the mic, the 'verbal representative' for Prospect then claimed that those in charge wanted to censor him.

Meanwhile, Bret apparently felt sorry for the loudmouth. Offering his mic, he couldn't believe the disrespect when Kennedy then used it to threaten him. Still, at least fans got to revel in the fact that Kennedy was (temporarily) muted.
