As cool as it was to see Joseph Conners bag the WCPW Title, his victory wasn't all that popular with many fans. Some undoubtedly enjoyed it, but the result was somewhat sullied by the fact that Conners so ignorantly turned his back on Joe Hendry. By contrast, Nixon Newell's capture of the WCPW Women's Title pleased everybody.

Newell had to almost end Bea Priestley's career to pick up the win, but that was the nature of the beast. Both girls knew what they were getting into when they signed up for the Last Woman Standing affair. After a German Suplex and almighty punt to the head, Nixon stood triumphant.

General Manager Adam Pacitti, who had unveiled the new Women's Title pre-match, hit the ring to congratulate the Welsh sensation. Looking like she could barely believe what was happening, Newell was glassy-eyed and incredulous at her win.

WCPW now has the first female titleholder in company history, and that's something nobody will ever be able to take away from Nixon Newell. She earned it, and had to fight Priestley's bullying tactics to get there.
