WCW Legend Criticises Jon Moxley's Blood Use On AEW TV
Jon Moxley loves to bleed on AEW programming, but this wrestling legend isn't a fan.
Former WCW star Konnan was no stranger to bloody matches during his own pro wrestling career, but has criticised Jon Moxley for bleeding weekly on AEW TV.
Konnan broached the subject of Mox blading during a recent episode of his podcast. There, he questioned why Jon bleeds in matches that "usually" have "next-to-no build up" before they happen. Jon works a lot of random bouts on Dynamite and Rampage, so it's even more confusing to Konnan that he's willing to bleed as much as he does.
It doesn't make sense to the Mexican star.
Konnan freely admitted that blood was "always included" in his "formula" during feuds in Mexico, but...he'd only bleed when he felt like it might heighten the drama. So, to him, it's rather strange that Moxley bleeds during exhibition bouts against wrestlers he isn't even working a story with.
The former nWo member, who will induct Rey Mysterio into WWE's Hall Of Fame before WrestleMania 39 next month, also pointed out a cultural difference between today's North American wrestling fans and the ones he worked in front of back then.
He's puzzled by Mox's choices.
