Throughout the years, there have been so many unsolved mysteries on WWE TV. Who was behind GTV? Who blew up Vince McMahon’s limo? Who raised the briefcase out of Steve Austin’s grasp? Well while we still have zero answers on those questions, we now finally know who was responsible for pie-facing Kevin Owens.

If you remember, a food fight on the July 4, 2016 edition of Monday Night Raw saw KO end up being hit by a pie – but we would never see it revealed who launched this sweet treat at the one-time Universal Champion.

Speaking on The AJ Awesome Show, Owens revealed to 10-year-old AJ that it was Vince McMahon who pie’d him.

As the Prizefighter put it, “The only answer I can give people is that in the end, even if it wasn’t him who physically did it, the one who ultimately threw the pie at me is Vince McMahon. He’s the one who decided that pie was going to hit me in the face. And he wasn’t there physically to do it, but he’s the one who made it happen.”

Fast-forward just over a year later, and we’d of course see Owens drop McMahon with a headbutt live on SmackDown.

Kevin Owens is expected to appear on tonight’s go-home edition of Raw, ahead of then competing against Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 36 this weekend.
