What Did WWE Have Planned For Mandy Rose And Toxic Attraction Before Her Release?
What was on the horizon for Mandy Rose and Toxic Attraction in WWE?
WWE were already planning on calling Toxic Attraction up to the main roster without Mandy Rose before the latter's release.
In the wake of the former NXT Women's Champion being suddenly released by WWE due to the explicit content Rose had been posting on her FanTime subscription service page, what the company would do with Mandy's one-time allies Toxic Attraction quickly became a question on many fans' lips.
Well, Dave Meltzer has provided something of an update on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, explaining that Rose's departure likely won't affect the original plan for Toxic Attraction.
The plan was to reportedly bring Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne up to the main roster without Rose by their side anyway, with Meltzer also adding, "they weren't ready when they first brought them up in the ring, but they're getting there and the act itself is a good act."
On the back of a rather successful stint down in NXT, Dolin and Jayne would eventually briefly pop up on SmackDown in August, scoring an upset over Natalya and Sonya Deville in the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship tournament before losing to Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah almost a month later.
It remains to be seen precisely when WWE will choose to pull the trigger on said seemingly inevitable full call-up, however.
