What Happened After AEW Dynamite Went Off The Air?

Kota Ibushi takes insane bump after Blood & Guts.

Kota Ibushi participated in a wild AEW Blood & Guts match on last night's Dynamite, teaming with Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, and 'Hangman' Adam Page as their Golden Elite unit defeated the Blackpool Combat Club, PAC, and Konosuke Takeshita - but Ibushi saved his weirdest, craziest bump for after the violent match.

While the likes of Jon Moxley left Blood & Guts coated in claret, having gone through hell, Ibushi left his AEW debut relatively unscathed. Largely unbothered by the plunder around him, the Golden Star was close to spotless.

So he chose to rectify this after Dynamite went off the air.

After acknowledging the Boston, MA crowd, Ibushi positioned himself near a pile of thumbtacks, and appeared to reach down and grab a couple of handfuls, before inexplicably taking a back bump onto the tiny spikes. He then popped up to his feet, unperturbed as he walked around the ring, his back pierced by dozens of tacks.

Kota Ibushi is a different kind of professional wrestler.

This was Ibushi's first ever AEW match - and only his third since October 2021, when he was injured while facing Kazuchika Okada in his former home, NJPW.
