Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne tried to attack Adam Copeland after last night's AEW Dynamite went off the air, leading to both men getting put down by the former Edge on his first Wednesday night appearance.

AEW has uploaded footage of the melee to X. Copeland was in the ring, standing firm after his show-closing promo, as Luchasaurus advanced. Christian Cage's heavy then stepped to the 'Rated R Superstar' and took a swing after exchanging some words.

Luchasaurus then goozled Copeland, who broke free before he could be hit with a Chokeslam. A couple of rope bounces later and Luchasaurus had been speared into the mat.

Wayne then entered the ring, faring even worse. The teenage prodigy was speared out of his boots before he was able to do anything. Christian Cage, who'd been watching on from the ramp, tried to enter the ring, but was chased out immediately.

On Dynamite itself, Copeland had pitched he and Christian Cage teaming together again, ending their careers together after decades as real-life best friends. The TNT Champion's response was to tell Copeland to "go f*** yourself" before bringing Luchasaurus out for a taste of next week's bout with Adam.
