Seth Rollins and Damian Priest contested the former's World Heavyweight Championship in last night's WWE Raw main event, then shared another moment after the show went off the air.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson reports that after the Raw broadcast had wrapped, Rollins showed respect to Priest, calling for the Judgment Day member to come back to the ring so that he could shake his hand. This "nice moment," like the main event itself, was described as feeling like "another upward step for Priest."

Footage of the handshake has made it to social media:-

Rollins' win over Priest was his first successful defence of the World Heavyweight Championship to make it to television since Seth defeated AJ Styles for the vacant strap at Night Of Champions 2023 (27 May). Last week, Rollins and Styles defeated Priest and Finn Balor in a tag team main event, leading to The Judgment Day accosting the champion in last night's opening segment.

PWInsider reported last month that Priest was "now seen as one of the top-level players in [WWE] going forward," which came in the aftermath of his acclaimed Backlash 2023 performance opposite Bad Bunny.
