What If... CM Punk NEVER Returned To Wrestling

...it's that this actor/comic book writer/MMA fighter/wrestling legend's heart will forever belong to this here business.

Would wrestling have been a more peaceful and less chaotic place if it remained Punk-free? Possibly. But it would have almost certainly been infinitely duller, too.

He's not here to make friends, he's here to make money, as the man himself boldly put it after his latest Internet melting comeback - this time to the world of sports entertainment he left behind almost ten years earlier.

But in doing that, he's also made a hell of a lot of cherished and unforgettable (and occasionally infamous) moments and memories along the way. Wrestling is just better with this flawed but mesmerising icon in it.

And once that triceps is fully healed up and he's back to ruffling feathers and putting Scottish Warriors and Visionaries to sleep inside of a WWE squared-circle, you better believe this Punk will give fans a few more reasons to be grateful that he did finally return to this business.
