What Long-Lost WWE Superstar Is Returning To Raw Next Week?
This is a stretch, and it could require some trickery, but it could be entertaining.
Elias is returning to Raw next week and will hold a concert.
His storyline brother Ezekiel announced the return on Raw Monday night, but there's an obvious catch: Ezekiel is Elias, sans beard and jeans. Yes fans, Kevin Owens is right.
The news came after Ezekiel defeated Owens via count-out to even their rivalry up at 1-1, with KO losing track of the referee's count while he yelled at the announcers about calling his opponent Ezekiel rather than Elias.
Elias hasn't been seen in WWE since July 2021, when he lost a Symphony of Destruction match to former sidekick Jaxson Ryker. He was taken off TV and was reportedly going to be repackaged with a new look, but instead, he returned after WrestleMania 38 as a new character... sort of. Ezekiel was introduced as Elias' younger brother, but WWE hasn't ignored the obvious. In fact, they've leaned into it with Owens' feud based entirely on exposing Ezekiel as Elias.

Considering that Ezekiel is cleanshaven and Elias has always had a long, scraggly beard, it remains to be seen how they pull this off next week. Do they actually try to use a false beard and pass it off as Elias? Do they try to use video trickery (such as a pre-recorded video on the screen) to make the "brothers" appear at the same time?
This angle has been overall pretty entertaining, and it looks like WWE is going to get a bit more mileage out of it.
