What Next For Eric Bischoff In AEW?

Will Easy E be back in AEW anytime soon?

It looks like Eric Bischoff's All Elite Wrestling cameo was a one-off - at least for now.

PWInsider reported this on Thursday, with Dave Meltzer corroborating in this week's edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Don't expect to see 'Easy E' back in AEW anytime soon.

Bischoff was a special guest moderator for this week's Super Wednesday debate between Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy, though his intended surprise appearance was leaked ahead of time. This mattered little, as the segment drew a strong viewership of 918,000 (including 487,000 in the key 18-49 demographic), as Dynamite coasted to its greatest ratings success since 2 February.

A blistering Orange Cassidy promo (preceded by an in-depth scientific breakdown on rising sea levels) saw Bischoff award the debate to 'Freshly Squeezed,' sparking Jericho's rage. The former WCW executive made a hasty exit as Jericho and Jake Hager beat Cassidy down before Best Friends made the save).

This was Bischoff's first appearance on TNT (the network that hosted WCW for years) in two decades. Eric had been a constant AEW critic prior to making good with company president Tony Khan on a recent podcast, which may have led to his appearance.
