Fans in America expecting to see a list of G1 Climax 2019 spoilers after waking up this morning needn't worry: the show hasn't kicked off just yet.

That's because although New Japan Pro Wrestling's gruelling annual tournament is scheduled to commence on 6 July, the opening day - featuring the utterly mouthwatering clash between Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada - is taking place in Dallas, TX.

The A Block begins in earnest from the city's American Airlines Center at 6pm Eastern/ 3pm Pacific (10pm BST for fans in the UK), and is available to stream through New Japan's on-demand service, NJPW World.

In addition to the previously mentioned titanic tussle, Saturday's opening G1 action will see Lance Archer face Will Ospreay, SANADA clash with Zack Sabre Jr., and KENTA come up against Koti Ibushi, in the former's tournament debut.

Elsewhere on the show, the Guerrillas of Destiny meet Roppongi 3K, Jeff Cobb & Ren Narita are paired with Shota Umino & Tomorhiro Ishii, and The Bullet Club take on Chaos.
