Ronda Rousey is currently serving time on a storyline WWE suspension, though it won't be long before the former SmackDown Women's Champion is back on television.

Dave Meltzer reported on today's Wrestling Observer Radio that Ronda is currently booked for Clash at the Clash on 3 September. This means WWE will likely have to overturn her suspension before then, with Ronda expected to be absent for less than a month.

WWE announced a kayfabe fine and suspension for Rousey on Monday. This followed the events of SummerSlam 2022 (30 July), where she was defeated by rival Liv Morgan, sparking a heel turn. As well as beating Morgan down after their short four-minute bout, a frustrated Rousey locked the referee in an armbar.

Putting hands on a company officially so violently is a kayfabe no-no, hence the storyline suspension.

Morgan's win over Rousey came via opportunistic roll-up at SummerSlam. A rematch would therefore make sense for Clash at the Castle, which would technically be the duo's third match in two months. Previously, Liv cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase to take Ronda's SmackDown Women's Title at Money in the Bank 2022.
