Where Was Cody Rhodes During WWE Elimination Chamber 2022

Those WWE return rumours gather pace as the American Nightmare has this weekend been spotted in...

For those hoping to see Cody Rhodes make an appearance at WWE Elimination Chamber yesterday, there wasn't even a mention of the American Nightmare yet alone an appearance from Rhodes at this latest WWE premium live event.

As per PWInsider, Cody was spotted in Orlando, Florida - specifically Orlando International Airport - yesterday within an hour of Elimination Chamber concluding.

This ties in nicely with previous Sports Illustrated reports that Rhodes would be heading to the WWE Performance Center this weekend to film content for his WWE return. Of course, the WWE Performance Center is located in Orlando, Florida.

So, all of this means that while Cody Rhodes was not involved in WWE's Elimination Chamber event this weekend, it could be that he was - and is! - still doing something with Vince McMahon's sports entertainment juggernaut this weekend.

In case you've been living under a rock, both Cody and his wife Brandi formally departed AEW this past Monday. The two had been working without contracts since the turn of the year, and the decision was made for the couple to exit All Elite Wrestling after terms couldn't be agreed with Tony Khan for new deals.

The belief is that Cody will be returning to WWE imminently, and his free agent status means he could realistically appear as soon as tomorrow night's Raw. As for Brandi, reports suggests that she will not be joining her husband in returning to McMahon's promotion.
