Which WWE Star Has Had Her Push Cancelled THREE TIMES In 2020?

Success will come eventually. It better...

Shayna Baszler Elimination Chamber

Fightful are reporting that three different plans to push Shayna Baszler were nixed by WWE this year.

Firstly, Shayna was in the frame to win the women's Royal Rumble match in January. That was reportedly changed to Charlotte Flair's triumph mere hours before the pay-per-view went live on the air.

Then, after dominating at Elimination Chamber in February, Baszler was geared to capture the Raw Women's Title from Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 36. Despite protestations from Becky though, Vince McMahon decided he didn't want that title switch to happen without a live crowd, so Lynch was given the win.

Finally, Shayna was the favourite to grab the briefcase at Money In The Bank and then become a huge focal point on TV over the summer. That didn't happen - Asuka won it instead and ended up becoming Raw Women's Champ herself.

The website claims there hasn't been any heat on Shayna (which would explain why her push has been repeatedly cancelled), and WWE are still high on her. That may be true, but having three big moments scrapped in the same year must be incredibly frustrating for the former NXT fave.

Baszler returned on last week's Raw and then cut another promo about the state of the women's division on Monday's show.
