According to Paul Davis of WrestlingNews, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has changed his mind again on a potential Shayna Baszler push.
WWE Raw Executive Director Paul Heyman is reportedly a huge fan of Baszler and there were plans for her to win both the 2020 Women's Royal Rumble and the recent Women's Money in the Bank ladder match. However, those plans were changed and Charlotte Flair and Asuka were given the all important wins, respectively.
It has now been reported that McMahon has supposedly changed his mind on Baszler again and he isn't completely convinced she has what it takes to be a top heel in the company, though Baszler is still expected to break into the title picture at some point this year.
Baszler hasn't been announced as a competitor in the upcoming triple threat number one contendership match for Asuka's Raw Women's title on this week's episode of the red show, so she may have to wait until SummerSlam for a chance to test herself again at the top of the card.
Is McMahon right to doubt Baszler's ability to be a top level heel? Or do you think she's more than ready to domiante the red brand?
