This week's episode of AEW Dynamite brought the news that Mike Tyson will be in the house to unveil the new TNT Championship to whoever wins between Cody and Lance Archer at Double Or Nothing 2020, bringing what started as a backstage association between the former heavyweight boxing champion of the world and the upstart promotion into the onscreen realm.

Tyson was in the house for last year's Double Or Nothing, posing for behind-the-scenes photos with the likes of Chris Jericho and Brandi Rhodes, and had such a great time that the two parties agreed to bring him back for next week's pay-per-view.

Dave Meltzer spoke about this on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio. He said that Tyson "loved everything about" going backstage at Double Or Nothing 2019, leading to this year's appearance.

Tyson recently went viral for an Instagram showing off his ridiculous hand speed at 53 years old, hinting at a comeback. The big question on wrestling fans' minds, however, is likely to be who he'll put to sleep at Double Or Nothing, as not having him knock an obnoxious heel out feels like a missed opportunity.
