Ex-WWE star Karrion/Killer Kross has revealed that he actually enjoyed wrestling Keith Lee on Raw more than on NXT.

Kross answered questions from fans for 'Signed By Superstars' on Facebook - when one viewer asked what he thought of his bouts against new AEW signee Lee, Karrion said that they were much better on WWE's flagship than at the Capitol Wrestling Center. Why? Well, both guys got to work in front of a proper live crowd on Monday nights last summer.

They didn't have that luxury on NXT in 2020.

Kross said that it was incredibly difficult to find "appropriate rhythm in the ring" with Keith (or anyone else, for that matter) during the pandemic. He found that the lack of natural ambience and audience feedback threw him off his game, and that made the critically-acclaimed matches feel like a chore to work.

It'd be interesting to hear what Lee thinks about that. Maybe he's the same.

Karrion wished he and Keith could've done more together on Raw, because their chemistry was "exactly where it needed to be" in July 2021. Sadly, WWE weren't really interested in furthering the feud beyond a few scuffles.
