Why Triple H Is Happy He's Not Wrestling At WrestleMania 36

'The Game' is thankful he wasn't booked on WWE's biggest show.

Triple H has told ESPN SportsCenter that he's actually happy he's not wrestling a match during WWE's WrestleMania 36 weekend.

'Mania 36 will mark the first 'Show Of Shows' in 13 years that 'The Game' hasn't worked; in that period, he's had memorable matches against The Undertaker, Daniel Bryan, Sting, Batista, John Cena and more. That run of bouts, and the part-time groove Trips has settled into, had to come to an end at some point.

2020 is the year, but the current Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development isn't concerned about the lack of a featured match. In fact, he thinks it would've been "impossible" to juggle preparing for a major spot on the card with his corporate office duties in WWE, especially given the topsy-turvy nature of business right now.

That's a fair point well made.

Triple H and other WWE management figures have had to deal with ever-changing scenarios due to the ongoing health crisis, and he's grateful to get a year off from beating up his body too. It looks like last year's brawl with Batista will be Trips' last for a good while.
