Why WWE Apologised To AEW's Britt Baker

Triple H and Stephanie McMahon were "very apologetic"...

AEW's Britt Baker told a fascinating story about her experience at WWE's NXT TakeOver: War Games last November on the latest episode of 'Talk Is Jericho'.

Baker, who was in the crowd to watch her boyfriend Adam Cole work the main event, was accidentally shown on camera by WWE's production team during the match. Backstage, both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon personally apologised to Baker, claimed the director probably didn't know who she was and hoped it wouldn't cause her any problems with Tony Khan and AEW.

After the show, Khan was thrilled.

Britt started trending on social media, and her name was one of the hottest topics doing the rounds after NXT's show. That had to put a smile on the AEW gaffer's face, and it's something Baker admits she found pretty funny herself.

WWE had actually moved her from her original seat before the cage headliner; she was moved behind the commentary desk because the cameras were unlikely to roam that area. Later, the guilty production staffer in question approached Cole and told him that he did know who Britt was, but wasn't sure what mix up had led to her appearing on camera.
