Why WWE Censored Raw This Week (WWE News)

Those watching Raw via Netflix would've surely noticed that Jey Uso's face was blurred out and censored during an attack by Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price on The Bloodline. The Usos and Jacob Fatu had just arrived at the building when Keys, Nima and Price assaulted them with weapons and smashed up their car.

Then, Keys dragged Jey from the front seats through the window and continued his attack.

False Finish reports that Netflix execs decided to censor the clip "due to restrictions in several countries where the show is broadcast". In response, WWE chief Triple H posted a fully uncensored version of events on social media. It's cool 'The Game' can still do that, but a lot of fans remain unhappy that the kid gloves are on with Netflix.

This isn't the first time they've blurred, blocked or censored WWE content. In fact, it's becoming a recurring theme. Bron Breakker's bloody face was censored back at Night Of Champions in late-June. There, Bron worked a steel cage match vs. Seth Rollins, but Netflix refused to show some claret designed to heighten the bout's drama.

Later, on an episode of Raw in July, Brock Lesnar's "Talk Sh*t, Get Hit" t-shirt was censored. They blocked out the 'offending word' there. Netflix had also skirted around some blood that popped up during a scuffle between Cody Rhodes and Gunther, so they are making a habit of this.

It's believed that WWE...aren't keen on this approach. Older UK fans will be getting a whiff of Channel 4 about all of this!
