Why WWE's WrestleMania 37 Ticket Sales Have Been Delayed
Around 25,000-30,000 tickets will be available for WWE WrestleMania 37, but not yet...
WrestleMania 37 is now less than two calendar months away, with The Showcase of the Immortals set to go down in Tampa, Florida's Raymond James Stadium on 10 and 11 April.
WWE is expected to welcome around 25,000 to 30,000 fans into the building on each night. If all goes to plan, 'Mania 37 will be the highest-attended pro wrestling event since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic forced promotions into empty and sparsely-populated arenas and gymnasiums last March, but the planning stage is proving difficult - and WM37 tickets aren't even on sale yet.
WrestleVotes tweeted the following on Thursday:-
WrestleMania tickets would typically go on sale around six months before The Show of Shows. The ongoing global health crisis complicates matters greatly, though it's encouraging to hear that WWE is taking its time to make the show as safe as possible.
Part of this could involve taking a page out of the NFL's book and populating Raymond James Stadium with cardboard cutout fans, which would give the impression of a fuller building and assist with physical distancing. WWE officials reportedly attended Super Bowl LV for inspiration on this front. Whatever the case, Vince McMahon and co. face a huge challenge.
