With the WWE crew having now started to arrive in Saudi Arabia for this weekend's King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event, many fans have pondered whether CM Punk will have a role to play at this show.

Via PWInsider, it appears that the Punker won't be in Saudia for either that PLE or tomorrow's edition of SmackDown, which also takes place from the Kingdom. Instead, the outlet notes how the Second City Saint will be back on the call and commentating for Cage Fury Fighting Championship on Friday, ruling Punk out of appearing at Smackers or King and Queen of the Ring.

Interestingly, this latest Cage Fury show - a fight promotion CM Punk has worked with since 2018 - will take place from Philadelphia's famed 2300 Arena, with the Chicagoan extremely familiar with the former ECW Arena and having first wrestled there himself back in 2002 for 3PW.

Currently recovering from a torn tricep suffered at this year's Royal Rumble, the hope is that Punk will be cleared to return to the ring in the next couple of months as his ongoing rivalry with Drew McIntyre continues to play out despite both men currently dealing with injury problems.
