Will Ospreay Fires Back At WWE Hall Of Famer
Recent cutting comments from a WWE legend caught Will Ospreay's attention.
Will Ospreay took a dig at WWE legend Kevin Nash during a recent Twitter exchange.
Things kicked off when Nash replied to a tweet from the @WrestlingBanana account - the site said that Ospreay had received more five-star ratings for his matches than icons like Kurt Angle, CM Punk and John Cena.
Replying, big Kev asked: "How's his merchandise sales?".
It didn't take long for other workers to pile in and start responding. Kenny Omega, for example, quoted Nash's message and said it was "justifiably putrid". Meanwhile, Ospreay (who is never one to shy away from such moments), also quoted 'Big Sexy' and asked: "Did you tear your quads writing this tweet?".
Clarifying, Will then sent out another tweet that suggested he was only playing around with Nash. The WWE Hall Of Famer and ex-World Champ hasn't replied to Ospreay's cheeky comment with another one of his own quite yet.
In fairness, both jibes were as entertaining as they were cutting. Will later pointed out that wrestling fans will continue arguing about everything regardless of who says what.
That's...likely fair, but the exchange was fun to witness.
