Will Ospreay Wants This AEW Champion In His United Empire Faction

Could it only be a matter of time before this AEW man wrestles for New Japan?

It's Hook!

Oh yes, current IWGP United States Champ and United Empire leader Will Ospreay thinks the AEW star would be a great fit for his faction. In fact, Ospreay wasn't shy about pitching that Hook joins his group during an interview with 'A Drink At The Inn'.

Will also revealed that he gets along famously with Hook's father Taz - they shared some banter during Ospreay's recent appearances for All Elite, and that's when the acrobatic Englishman suggested that Hook working over in NJPW would be hugely beneficial to his development as a pro wrestler.

Ospreay likes the thought of taking Hook under his wing and having some cracking nights out in Roppongi with him too. That, Will says, is somewhat of an initiation for younger stars who come over to New Japan on his watch.

Hook is the current FTW Champion in AEW. That belt isn't officially recognised by Tony Khan's company, but it is a regular on TV. It's very-clear that Hook has a bright future ahead of him too, but could a stint in New Japan accelerate his career prospects?
