William Regal Wants To 'Bury The Hatchet' With This WWE Star
AEW's William Regal has invited this WWE man onto his popular podcast.
William Regal has invited WWE part-timer Bill Goldberg to come on his 'Gentleman Villain' podcast and 'bury the hatchet' once and for all.
The pair had a well-documented scrap in-ring during their time together in WCW, and Regal admits that he's never spoken to Bill about the incident since. In fact, when both were on WWE's active roster in the early-2000s, Goldberg refused to say one word to the Brit.
Regal hopes time has softened things.
The AEW man says he won't find Goldberg's number and call him "because that's just rude", but he does think they should "put this to bed" ASAP. The pair are older now, and William doesn't fancy carrying around any ill will - the legend actually says he's "not bothered one way or the other", but does want to "communicate" and extend the proverbial olive branch to Bill.
That'll be a podcast episode worth hearing, assuming it happens. Someone in the wrestling media needs to get word to Goldberg so he can make his mind up. It'd be cool if he and Regal managed to squash their ancient problems and move on.
