Women's Royal Rumble #30 Spot Up For Grabs On WWE Backstage

Either Natalya or Tamina will enter the 2021 women's Royal Rumble last.

WWE announced on Friday's episode of SmackDown that Natalya will battle Tamina on tonight's Backstage - the winner will enter Sunday's Royal Rumble match as #30.

Got all that?

Backstage will also feature announcements for the men's Rumble. WWE will reveal the #1 and #2 entrants for that match during the same broadcast. If you'd rather go into the pay-per-view blind without knowing who will be last in the women's bout and who will kick off the men's one, then give Backstage a miss.

Whilst it does make sense that WWE are trying to give Backstage some purpose, they do risk spoiling some of the Rumble's magic here; most fans would probably rather not know who was entering where. That, after all, is part of the long-running event's charm.

WWE obviously disagree. Either Nattie or Tamina will be confirmed as the final entrant in the women's Rumble before the pay-per-view. It's likely to be Natalya, but who knows. Tamina could be booked in that 'surefire winner' spot that rarely pans out.

Again, avoid Backstage completely if you'd rather not know how the men's Rumble will start and how the women's one will close.
