Women's Tag-Team Title Rematch Rumoured For WWE Royal Rumble 2021

Challenge made for Women's Tag Title rematch at Royal Rumble 2021 - WWE yet to confirm.

Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax teased a rematch with Charlotte Flair and Asuka on Monday's episode of WWE Raw.

The former Women's Tag-Team Champions bickered following Shayna's win over Mandy Rose, but then said they thought the time was right to challenge for the belts again during a backstage promo - Baszler and Jax were booked to go with the 'we've never seen eye-to-eye' approach here.

WWE hasn't made the title bout official for the upcoming 2021 Royal Rumble. If they do, then Flair, Jax and Baszler will all pull double duty on 31 January. That trio had already been announced for the 30-woman match itself.

Meanwhile, Asuka was expected to defend her Raw Women's Title in another match of some sort; Alexa Bliss was rumoured, and that will only intensify after she toppled the champ in a non-title bout on last night's Raw.

Now, it seems, WWE want to go down the Tag Title rematch route instead. This is a slight surprise, because there's probably more juice in a Asuka vs. Bliss repeat than Jax and Baszler vying for the tag belts again.
