Would Renee Paquette Join AEW?

Whilst appearing as the latest guest on Chris Van Vliet's show, Renee Paquette revealed whether she'd be interested in working with AEW at some point in the future.

Since leaving WWE in 2020, Paquette hasn't appeared on another wrestling show, instead spending a lot of her time producing a podcast by the name of Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette. Yet, when discussing whether or not she'd be on board with the idea of working for her husband's company and her previous employer's biggest rivals, she had this to say:

"Yeah, I dunno, maybe I’ll wrestle Brandi, and then our kids will wrestle, who knows?!

That’s the thing too, you look at AEW and I think everything they’re doing is fantastic. I’m not saying I wouldn’t do something there, I for sure would if the right thing came up. But it’s not the thing that I’m chasing down. I think my time in WWE was so great and my time in wrestling has been so great but I don’t want to have that be the only thing that I do. I don’t want to pigeon hole myself as just being the ‘wrestling girl.’ I’ll always have that in my wheelhouse and have that be a thing that I lean on but I think there are so many other things that I want to do. I think just going right to working in another wrestling company would sort of take away from my whole purpose of wanting to walk away."

Judging from Paquette's comments, it appears the former Talking Smack and WWE Backstage host is quite happy keeping her options open and exploring avenues that weren't available to her whilst signed to her former company. Yet, she still seems open to working with AEW if the right opportunity comes along, so we could still see Paquette return to the world of wrestling at some stage in her career.

For now, though, it's fair to say that Paquette has enough going on to keep her occupied, welcoming regular guests to her podcast all whilst being pregnant with herself and Jon Moxley's first child.
