Would This Much Maligned Ex-WWE Star Get A "Fresh Start" In AEW?

One wrestling veteran believes this former WWE man deserves a second chance.

Retired wrestler/booker/everything Kevin Sullivan has told fans on his 'Tuesday With The Taskmaster' podcast that former WWE star Ryback would be a smash hit in AEW.

According to Sullivan, the former Intercontinental Champ "deserves a second chance", but should "apologise from the heart" to wrestling fans for some of his prior comments. If that's happens, then Kev thinks people would wipe the slate clean with Ryback, start again, and get behind his in-ring career again.

Why AEW and not WWE though, that's the question? Sullivan thinks Tony Khan's company would be ideal because it'd be a totally "fresh start" for Ryback. He wouldn't have to match anything he achieved in WWE before, and there'd be no pressure on him from those behind the scenes who remember his first run (and the ill will that followed once he left).

All Elite represents a fresh platform for someone like Ryback, Sullivan reckons. He'd like to see it, 'cause he believes "everybody" should get a second chance to make that first impression. So to speak.

Ryback left WWE in 2016, and hasn't actually worked a match since August 2018.
