As some fans were already looking ahead to the seemingly inevitable possibility of The Undertaker facing the surely soon-to-be signed Sting at next year's main event, the WWE apparently ignored the fan memo and pulled a switch on almost everyone's expectations. Having allowed Lesnar to lose his last two main event slots, few could have expected that the WWE would push the Beast, under Paul Heyman's management, into the most auspicious position in WrestleMania's history. Some of the stars of the event will be remembered for their greatness, or for their legacy, as Hulk Hogan, Mr T, 'Taker himself and even Liberace will, but Brock Lesnar will now be committed to history forever as the man who ended the Undertaker's unthinkable run of success at WrestleMania. To say the crowd was left shocked is something of an understatement... It was by no means a pretty match, with 'Taker's balance and power not what it used to be, but for many the result was still a foregone conclusion, which is precisely why the WWE got so many choice reaction shots out of the crowd. As The Undertaker made his dejected exit, Heyman and Lesnar lapped up the moment, and the reactions across the web began to pour in immediately from fans, from pundits and from current and former WWE stars, some angry, some speechless, but all shocked...
