Shotzi received quite the eye-popping makeover on the latest edition of WWE SmackDown.

Her recent run-ins with Damage CTRL saw Bayley and IYO SKY cut a portion of the babyface's green hair off. This week, Shotzi went one step further by showing up on the big screen following Bayley's match vs. Zelina Vega (which lasted just two minutes) - CTRL looked on with worried expressions and Shotzi shaved her own head and laughed.

The general gist of the segment was Shotzi's bid to take back some control and assert dominance over her own destiny. It's unclear whether she's supposed to be a wacky tweener or sympathetic babyface though. WWE hasn't played those cards quite yet, but at least they're giving Shotzi some sort of direction.

That's been her biggest issue since trading NXT for the main roster. Shotzi has been used sparingly unless she's filling in as a tag-team partner for Raquel Rodriguez, and she badly needed something to do on her own.

It remains to be seen if WWE creative will actually follow up on any of this, but the segment was an eye-catching start.
