Things got grisly before last night's WWE Raw.

Dana Brooke suffered what looked like a nasty, bloody injury during last night's WWE Main Event tapings before Raw in Los Angeles, California.

Brooke was wrestling Sarah Logan in singles action. By all accounts, everything was going well under a spot that saw Logan put Brooke into the corner, resulting in the former Titus Worldwide statistician hitting the ring post. Dana was busted open on impact. Blood started pouring down her face, and that's when the referee decided to throw up the X sign and call the bout a no contest.

Several fans in attendance have documented the incident:-

There's currently no word on Brooke's condition or if she'll be required to miss any time as a result of the injury. Here's hoping that it's just a flesh wound, and that she's able to mount a speedy recovery.

While Brooke hasn't been a particularly regular televised performer over the past few years, recent months have brought something of a mini-renaissance, with Dana looking excellent in May's Women's Money In The Bank ladder match. Her dedication to her craft makes her easy to root for, though she can't climb the ladder if she isn't on Raw regularly.
