Wrestling Legend DONE With AEW?

It looks like you've seen the last of this wrestling legend in Tony Khan's AEW.

Fightful Select is reporting that Ric Flair's working relationship with Tony Khan's AEW appears to be over. The wrestling legend's Wooo! Energy drink deal has apparently expired, and the 'Nature Boy' hasn't appeared on company programming in months.

Heads were turned when Khan announced that he was bringing Ric to AEW in the first place, but it did make sense that he'd play some part in Sting's farewell tour before his old running buddy retired. Regardless, Flair's presence was mainly felt on episodes of Dynamite, Collision and Rampage thanks to those huge energy drink ads on the stage.

It's over.

Fightful also reported that Ric won't be factored into any future creative plans for the promotion either. Anyone fearing that the legend might convince Tony to let him pull on a pair of boots for "one more match" can rest easy. You won't be seeing Ric Flair wrestle on AEW TV or pay-per-view any time soon.

There's no word quite yet on Flair's next move. Some on social media are already linking him with a WWE return, but that's all rumour for now.
