This veteran has penned a new deal with All Elite Wrestling.

Having been a somewhat fleeting presence during his four-year run with AEW, the legendary Jake Roberts has revealed he's recently signed a new one-year deal to remain #AllElite.

Via SEScoops, the upcoming episode of The Snake Pit, already available on AdFreeShows, sees Roberts detail:

"Well folks, just to let you know, you're gonna be looking at me on AEW for another year. That's right, they re-signed me, so that's great news. Looking forward to doing it."

Jake also stated his intentions to pitch to Tony Khan about bringing back his Snake Pit talkshow, and likewise detailed plans to run his own cruise, ala the Jericho Cruise.

Roberts has formally been with AEW since appearing on a March 2020 episode of Dynamite, where he interrupted Cody Rhodes and promised he'd be bringing a new client with him. Of course, that client would prove to be Lance Archer, and Jake and the Murderhawk Monster have remain aligned across the subsequent four years. Prior to signing with AEW, Jake Roberts was featured in a promotional package for the Women's Casino Battle Royale at All Out 2019, where he appeared as a blackjack dealer.

As alluded to, the use of Jake Roberts - and Lance Archer, for that point - has been a little stop-start since his 2020 arrival. Roberts and Archer will be seen on TV for a couple of weeks, then gone for months at a time. In addition to managing Lance Archer, Jake the Snake has also served as the manager of the Righteous' Vincent and Butch since last year.
