As of late WWE Raw has resurrected an old wrestling (and storytelling) trope; the odd couple; a combination of two paradoxical entities who bring the best and quite often the worst out in each other. Odd couples excel when they bring either comedy or innovation, even better if they can do both. It is a well mined trope for a reason and has given many a superstar some much needed direction.
Currently Raw's Tag Team Championships are held by the strange alliance of Randy Orton and Riddle known as RKBro, who defeated the equally jarring duo of AJ Styles and Omos to score championship gold.
The Women's division too has the current ad-hoc union of the comic book inspired Nicki A.S.H. and the dark and brooding Rhea Ripley, taking the place of the recently split bizarro duo of the narcissistic Eva Marie and the downtrodden powerhouse christened Doudrop.
