10. Humble Beginnings Of Jushin Thunder Liger
In professional wrestling, there are very few places more intimidating than the Dungeon. Stu Hart is remembered for many things Being a great wrestler and a promoter, but perhaps, he was mostly feared and respected for the punishment he dished out on the young wrestlers, who in pursuit of perfecting their skills endured his wrath in the basement of the Harts house. New Japan Dojo also has familiar stories, and according to some of the wrestlers, was even more intimidating than the Dungeon! It is famously said that the New Japan Dojo made the Harts Dungeon look tame, and that if you made through it, you were guaranteed to become a star. The Dojo became infamous for dishing out brutal punishment, making the wrestlers work out for more than 16 hours a day, including mental and physical abuse. Some guys were even forced to drink their own semen! There is a story about a Japanese wrestler who went to the Dojo, took every kind of punishment imaginable, and even thanked the guys for it. He became a whipping boy for everyone, and always thanked the instructors for putting him through all kinds of punishment. Anyway, after he graduated and moved away, he began missing the place. Sometimes when everyone was asleep, he used to sneak back in and used to exercise in the Dojo. As it turned out, he became one of the greatest wrestlers in Japan, and was known as an innovator in the United States. His name is Jushin Thunder Liger.
