WWE: 10 Hottest Free Agents In Wrestling Today
The last year in WWE has seen several new talents emerge onto the main roster - from the Shield to the Wyatts, from Big E. Langston to El Torito - but there as always been talk of bringing fresh talent into the company. Now, some new names, however talented, go to Florida to join NXT before being called up. I remember seeing Adrian Neville perform here in the UK as Pac for years before being offered a contract. On the other hand, a returning Goldust wasn't going to have to go to NXT before re-emerging on Raw and SmackDown. This is the same for TNA. They have given pushes to new talent such us Rockstar Spud, Ethan Carter III and the recently signed (American) Wolves. While TNA is on a cost-cutting drive (for several reasons) they are still on the lookout for new talent. In the last week or two we have seen the debut of MVP as the new TNA investor. MVP had been wrestling for various companies across the world since his release from WWE in late 2010. He was always mentioned as one of the top 'free agents' available to WWE/TNA but has only recently been picked up. Over the next pages, I am going to look at who I feel are the top ten free agents in wrestling today that WWE or TNA should be looking to sign - for a variety of reasons! (For the benefit of the piece, I will be including anyone on the ROH roster, as well as 'foreign' NJPW/AJPW wrestlers, as many of the Japanese wrestlers are under long term contracts.)
