From @StevieHoudini: What's the best name for a finisher?
The one that I'll always love the most is the Stone Cold Stunner because it fit the character of Steve Austin so perfectly. It was a move where he basically knocked the guy out when he hit it. There were times when people kicked out in main event level matches, but for the most part the move stunned guy in the sense that it put them down and he was able to win the matches. For submission moves, Sharpshooter really worked well as a name. It's cool. It fit Bret Hart so well. Some wrestling move names are so cheesy and wouldn't sound tough if you said them in public, but a Sharpshooter sounds pretty badass. There are so many other finishing move names that I've loved over the years like Five Star Frog Splash, Rock Bottom, Tombstone, Go To Sleep, Powerbomb and so many others. It's important to have a good name for a finisher, but my two all time favorites will probably always be the Stone Cold Stunner and the Sharpshooter.
