WWE: 10 Things That Must Happen In The Build-Up For Extreme Rules

1. Daniel Bryan Must Be Booked Strongly

And once they've sorted that out, they need to put everything they've got behind Daniel Bryan. Sure, he's the WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but his booking prior to that victory was weak to say the least. The "B+ player" storyline undermined his standing, as did his succession of failed title challenges (of course these failures weren't necessarily his own fault). What Bryan needs now is wins €“ clean wins €“ and plenty of them. He'd been the company's most over star for some time now, proving that his popularity is no flash in the pan. Thus he is deserving of the WWE's backing. A strong start to his latest title reign should banish memories of that 18 second 'Mania loss, as well as his short-lived previous reign at SummerSlam 2013. Booking Bryan strongly is perhaps the most imperative requirement of the Extreme Rules build. The company are on the cusp of something special at present, with an abundance of talent involved in intriguing storylines. But without a credible champion to lead the line that could all fall apart so easily. It's time for the WWE to put their money where their mouth is, and believe in the beard.
