WWE: 10 Things You Need To Know About Adam Rose

10. He Once Teamed With Justin Gabriel

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaqsmQDMrWk The early years of Rose's career were spent in his native land of South Africa, where he competed under both his real name (Ray Leppan), the more wrestling-ready persona of Dameon Duke and Presley Jackson. He worked primarily for World Wrestling Professionals and showed some very raw ability. It was that ability, along with his traits and skills, that caught the eye of World Wrestling Entertainment, who clearly believed that they could shape and mold the young man into a star in their developmental territory. As Duke, he would win the WWP heavyweight championship, establishing himself as one of South Africa's best young talents. The most interesting aspect of his time in South Africa was his tag team with future WWE Superstar Justin Gabriel. As Jackson, he teamed with the then-PJ Black in a team known as Pure Juice. What "juice" they were referencing remains a mystery but one thing was for certain: The duo was a very formidable team that became a regular in the area. When WWE came calling and the competitors arrived in developmental, they would see one another again. Under the moniker of Leo Kruger, Rose would meet his former partner on several occasions, splitting a series of matches with Gabriel. Now, he has the opportunity to join his longtime friend on the main roster, where the Adam Rose Experience will run wild while Gabriel does...whatever it is that Gabriel does while everyone is having matches and cutting promos on Monday nights.
