The concept of an elimination chamber was invented by Eric Bischoff in 2002. Its walls and ceiling are constructed out of chains, the floor (surrounding the ring, raised to the ring mat's height) is made of steel grates, and the four enclosed pods at each corner of the ring are made of clear lexan a thermoplastic that is virtually unbreakable, though many have tried in the name of pro wrestling. Bischoff's dream has been a nightmare for a long parade of WWE Superstars. The welts and bruises may heal, but a match in the Chamber comes with repercussions that run deep. Body slams look downright snuggly in comparison to much of the action deemed worthy of a Chamber. Wrestlers always up their game in order to utilize the unforgiving elements of the steel structure, and make their contributions to Chamber history that much more memorable than the previous match. This article will only look at wild moments from the officially-named Elimination Chamber events since 2010, and not the pay-per-views formerly known as No Way Out (For trivia buffs, the event was re-named quite simply Elimination Chamber after surveying the fans, but it has only aired in Germany under the name No Way Out, to avoid Nazi/gas chamber implications.)
