WWE: 10 Wrestlers You Didn’t Even Realise Are Still On The Roster

10. David Otunga

david otunga Apparently, a gimmick where a guy wears sweaters and drinks coffee out of a travel mug doesn't really lend itself to wrestling success. David Otunga hasn't been seen on television in quite a while and it's highly doubtful that the creative team will suddenly come up with an amazing storyline that turns him into the next Dwayne Johnson. Mr. Jennifer Hudson was the runner-up on the first season of NXT following a stint on VH1's always classy reality shows. Following his NXT performance, Otunga debuted on Raw the following week as a member of the Nexus. The new stable demolished the Raw set, laid waste to John Cena, and managed to get Daniel Bryan fired for choking out Justin Roberts with a neck tie. The problem was that Otunga was fairly awful in the ring. His moveset did not seem to mesh with his powerful physique and his team with fellow underachiever Michael McGillicutty failed to set the tag team ranks on fire. Otunga proceeded to lose pretty much every match he took part in after this, jobbing to curtain jerkers like Brodus Clay and Santino Marella. Since competing in the 2013 Royal Rumble and, shockingly, not winning it, Otunga has only worked in a backstage capacity for the company. He recently appeared on WWE.com during Big Show's lawsuit angle involving Triple H, but really, who goes on WWE.com anymore?

Mike Shannon hasn't written a bio just yet, but if they had... it would appear here.
