WWE: 15 Wrestlers Who Should Have Been Top Guys

4. Owen Hart

Owen Hart was, arguably, a better performer, both in the ring and on the mike, than his more famous brother Bret. From his high-flying abilities to his solid ground game, he was the prodigal son of Stu Hart's famous "dungeon." He wasn't afraid to make himself look like a dork, either. If you can make the audience laugh, you're halfway there, and Owen had that ability in spades. Had it not been for his 24 meter fall from the rafters in 1998, Owen Hart would most assuredly have become a WWE Champion. His legacy as a performer speaks for itself. His presence is sorely missed.

Check out "The Champ" by my alter ego, Greg Forrest, in Heater #12, at http://fictionmagazines.com. I used to do a mean Glenn Danzig impression. Now I just hang around and co-host The Workprint podcast at http://southboundcinema.com/.
