1. If He Ever Loses A Match Now It Would Punch A Whole In The Time Space Continuum
One of the things I enjoy doing whilst watching an episode of Raw is to frequent the numerous chat rooms set up to discuss/slit metaphorical wrists over the events of the show. This Monday would've had the wrestling samaritans on overtime as it seemed everyone, myself included, was in uproar over the conclusion to the John Cena vs Damien Sandown WHC match. It is a shame because it meant a great match was overlooked as people vented at the seeming burial of Damien Sandow and the 'same old crap' of John Cena. Personally, I think Sandow will be fine as the match at least put him on the map. Mr MITB he may have been, but he was hardly relevant or gaining momentum. My biggest problem with the outcome of the match is it essentially means John Cena can never lose again unless he is shot in the head with a silver bullet coated in kryptonite. Let me explain why. There comes a point of no return regarding heroic comebacks. Monday night on Raw I think we saw that point. In the space of two nights, John Cena returned from a serious arm injury, came up against a man who spent 20 minutes targeting the aforementioned arm, was brutally attacked the night after by another man on the same arm with steel steps, barricades and a steel chair before having another 20 minute match where his arm was again targeted relentlessly and he was hit with several finishing moves. Whilst for others, this chain of events would lead to leaving Raw in a conveniently parked ambulance, for John Cena it was merely a platform to perform what was the most lacklustre AA/Fireman's carry on Damien Sandow for the win. If he can go through all that and not be beaten, that means there is no finisher that should pin him, no match that should trouble him and no pain that should break him. If I was any other WWE superstar I would refuse to face him as there would be no point. If I was offered the opportunity to face him for the WHC, I would simply say "There is no way I can do the damage that was done to you by a combination of triceps surgery, Alberto Del Rio and Damien Sandow so there is no point in facing you as not even that could beat you." Of course we all know that John Cena will eventually lose and although he very rarely loses cleanly, even a dodgy finish will make no sense as it is doubtful it can be worse than what he has endured. Cena is now a ticking logic bomb, which will go off when he loses and when it does, my mind will f*cking explode. So there you have it. He's been back five minutes and already I cant stand him. I will leave you with a thought that crosses my mind every time he utters one particular catchphrase. "You can't see me!" If only John...if only.
