WWE: 6 Ways To Replace The Undertaker's Streak

All good things must come to an end...

Sports are all about numbers. Longtime baseball fans know what 755 or 61 means. Basketball fans know what 100 means. For wrestling fans, it's 21-0. "The Streak" probably did not start out with the intention of becoming what it is today, but WWE is not looking the proverbial gift horse in the mouth. They are taking the mystique and allure of the Undertaker's undefeated WrestleMania streak and trying to wring everything they can out of it. But as the cliché goes, all good things must come to an end. At some point in the coming years, Undertaker is going to retire, his body too banged up to recover for even one match a year. When that day comes, WWE will lose a major marketing tool they have come to rely on for their biggest show of the year. "The Streak" is almost synonymous with WrestleMania €“ it's hard to imagine a 'Mania without it being put on the line. So once 'Taker hangs 'em up, what can succeed or follow (because you can't really replace) The Streak? Here are a few options that could be implemented to draw fans in and take the place of wrestling's most revered record.
