WWE: 7 Wrestlers Who Should Be Massive Stars

Pro wrestling is an odd beast, indeed. While John Cena, the 14-time world champion, continues to be the face of the WWE, he is not without his detractors. Much like many past "faces of the company", there's the feeling among a large group of fans that he has perhaps overstayed his welcome. Cena is not the first to have this happen, and he likely won't be the last. However, underneath Cena, underneath any face of the WWE, he is supported by an undercard of gifted talent. These are men that inlcude multiple time Intercontinental Champions, United States Champions and even men who have yet to be given their big break. It's fair to say, then, that many of these talents have been ready to carry the torch of the WWE, but for whatever reason, have been playing back up to the man on top. He may not be the current champion, but the man who is clearly identified as the face of the company rarely needs it. Fans believe in these wrestlers, they want these wrestlers at the top. And while a couple of them have been promoted to a status that they probably could have never even dreamed of, at the end of the day, they still aren't labeled as "the man". While one can argue that some of them may haven't been ready, or proved to not be able to draw legitimate money, that much is completely different when it comes to the fans. They often get chants when they're not on the card, or even in the building. By now, all of these men and women should have been top stars, but have either been forgotten or depushed so much, it's a wonder they aren't forgotten.
